Congratulations to the Winners of BH Scholarships for the Spring Semester

Students of Klaipėda university were awarded scholarships by Baltisches Haus UAB for the spring semester.

Scholarships were awarded to the following students:

1. Study area of Biomedical Sciences – Greta Neverdauskaitė, a IV year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Public Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Klaipėda university.
2. Study area of Humanities – Agnė Vaitiekūnaitė, a IV year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Lithuanian Language and Ethnology at the Faculty of Humanities of Klaipėda university.
3. Study area of Physical Sciences – Rima Birškytė, a IV year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of Klaipėda university.
4. Study area of Arts – Viktorija Varanavičiūtė, a IV year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Music Performance (Grand Piano) at the Faculty of Arts of Klaipėda university.
5. Study area of Social Sciences – Laura Mažonaitė, a IV year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Psychology at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Klaipėda university.
6. Study area of Technology Sciences – Liudas Čekanauskis, a III year student of the full-time Bachelor study programme of Navigation at the Institute of Marine Navigation of Klaipėda university.

Under the sponsorship agreement Baltisches Haus undertook to provide nearly 30 thousand litas financial assistance to Klaipėda university to pay scholarships to students. One scholarship is awarded to students of the full-time Bachelor study programmes in the study areas of Biomedicine, Physical, Social, Technology Sciences, Humanities and Art. Six students shall receive a 490 litas scholarship for five months, i.e. one study semester.

Winners of scholarships were selected by Klaipėda university, with the evaluation of the last year's best performed students of study programmes in respective study areas or those students who performed exceptional work within their study area.
