On 12 December, the shopping centre at Didlaukio g. 80, Baltupiai, Vilnius will be reopened. Since its reconstruction, the area of the shopping centre has doubled, which means that more services and specialised shops will be found under its roof than before the changes.
An IKI supermarket will occupy the largest area in the shopping centre – nearly 1,780 sq.m. The Baltupiai Family Medical Centre will be located on the second floor of the shopping centre. Two caterers offering different types of food will be opened in the renovated shopping centre: Pasta pizzeria and an Oriental cuisine restaurant called Kinų smuklė (Chinese Pub). Other specialised shops and service providers will occupy smaller areas starting from 15 sq.m. Customers will find a Gintarinė vaistinė (pharmacy), optical shop, VET-1 veterinary clinic, Pinokis stationers, specialised flower and cosmetics shops, tailoring and dry-cleaning companies there. The building designed by the architect, Raimondas Palubeckis, will host a Top Games gaming machines hall and betting shop.
There will be a children playground for the young visitors and neighborhood with the modern gear. Baltisches Haus will donate it to the town.
