The Bokšto Skveras complex was formed over the centuries from several estates where brick structures were mentioned in historical sources as early as the 16th century. The constantly changing arrangement of the complex and its buildings, with their enclosed and open courtyards, has adapted perfectly to the natural terrain, blending harmoniously with the central and lower part of the Old Town, adjacent to the Vilnia River. By restoring the Tower Square, we sought to preserve what had been naturally formed over several centuries, bringing back what was most valuable to the city, and to adapt these historic spaces to the needs of modern people. The preserved authenticity and the innovative architectural, engineering and design solutions that have been adopted make Bokšto Skveras the most advanced baroque complex in Vilnius Old Town.
