Installation of first Ignitis ON electric vehicle charging points

In cooperation with Ignitis Lietuva, the first four Ignitis ON electric vehicle charging points have been installed in Vilnius, near Link Molėtų Shopping Centre.

In the next two years, a total of at least 110 public Ignitis ON electric vehicle charging points will be installed in 15 cities of the country. This is good news not only for drivers of electric vehicles in the capital or other big cities, because charging stations will be located near shopping centres and other commercial places, and in those cities and towns where they are especially welcome.

The rapid expansion of the electric vehicle charging network at the buildings managed and administered by Baltisches Haus is another important stage in order to increase the value, attractiveness and visitor traffic of our shopping and service locations. By expanding the electric vehicle charging network together with our partners, we will offer customers the opportunity to take care of their daily needs without changing their destination and thus help them save time. After the implementation of this project within a course of two years, electric vehicle charging points will be installed near 30 or near almost 60% of the buildings we manage and administer,” said Audrius Masionis, Manager at Baltisches Haus.

Public charging stations near shopping centres, mainly Iki, and other commercial buildings will be available not only in Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda, but also in Kretinga, Plungė, Mažeikiai, Šiauliai, Varėna, Alytus, Marijampolė, Vilkaviškis, Jurbarkas, Kėdainai, Panevėžys and Biržai.
