Shopping centre opened in Vilnius after reconstruction

After reconstruction, a shopping centre built in 2010 has opened in Vilnius, in Pavilnys district, at Juodasis kelias 35A.

The investment in design, construction and infrastructure works amounts to EUR 1.6 million, while the tenant of the building, Iki, has invested almost EUR 1.3 million in the store.

The total area of the shopping centre has increased by 500 square metres and now reaches 1,840 sq. m. The façade and engineering systems were also renovated and new engineering equipment was installed. The car park has almost doubled in size to 76 spaces and an additional electric car charging station has been installed in it. New asphalt pavement was laid near the shopping centre, pavements were renovated, new energy-efficient lighting was installed and 20 lime trees were planted.

The renovation of the 1 000 sq. m Iki store includes spacious departments of fruits and vegetables, locally baked bread and rolls, weighing meat, fresh fish and bakery. There are also 6 self-service Iki Bitutė checkouts, energy-saving solutions such as LED lighting and more sustainable refrigeration equipment. The store will offer a click&collect service – goods ordered in the electronic Iki store can be picked up at a convenient time.

The project contractor is UAB Dailista, the designer is UAB Architektūros ateljė, and the technical supervision was performed by UAB Pastatų diagnostika ir statyba.
