The creators of “Bokšto skveras” have won the main prize at the National Architecture Awards

At the first National Architecture Awards, “Bokšto skveras”, was recognized as the best project implemented in Lithuania for 2021-2022.

The grand prize went to the creators of “Bokšto skveras” for fostering authenticity, maintaining integrity and for harmonious integration into the urban structure of the city. According to the Commission, this is an excellent example of how to adapt historical buildings to new functions without harming their valuable properties.

The National Architecture Awards received a total of 127 entries across 9 different categories, from which 35 projects were selected to compete for the title. The winners were selected by a special committee consisting of experienced professionals from architecture and related disciplines.

The National Architecture Awards are organised by the Ministries of Environment and Culture.
